  • I can't believe what I did

    After Not touching anything "bad" in over 3 weeks. I have let myself down ... I had a huge fight with my husband & what did I do... EAT Chocolate CAKE It didn't even taste good!!! WHY?!?! I Guess I am back to Induction
    Started March 27,2006 29 Lb's & 3 sizes GONE!

    SW 260 Size 24 / CW 231Size 18 / GW 160 Size 9

    It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

        I Know I know it sucks!

        I been having a tough time holding onto things...My wife's been driving me nuts with her moaning and arguing....

        A few extra almonds here, some coffee there, some aspartame diet soda over there...A little grape juice, some apple....

        Lets both get a grip and shove this crap back onto the people who deserve it...I say we both get ourselves tied onto the Atkins wagon double quick and neither of us worry about what our arguementative spouses are up to...

        If they want to relapse into old ways of arguing and moaning let them do it on their own! We can do it!!!

          You can do it!! You are worth it, do this for yourself. Remember, cake never made anyone happy! Next time exercise your anger away.

            Thanks! You guys are the best. I regret having ate the cake even more so last night when my sugar level went all crazy &I had to go to bed at 8:00 because of no energy!!! I am back on the Wagon & huby can kiss my.... well you know. Thanks again everyone

                Sorry to hear you and your hubby got into a big argument ...and don't beat yourself up about eating the cake, it happens but it's something you can use for a learning experience. Here's some hugs for you!

                  Good for you for getting back to your Atkins. Stressful situations are always gonna be thrown at us and we just need to teach ourselves that we don't need to eat sweet carby foods to feel better.

                    The last time I got into an argument with my hubby, I walked to the store and got beef jerky. Not the best, I know...but an example of an alternative to carbs when feeling stressed out. Kind of funky about the beef jerky though

                      The walk was a good idea anyway, Jcapulet!!
                      for a start it kept you away from temptations in the kitchen and got you exercising too!!
                      Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

                      F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )
