Whether you're new to Atkins or have been on this WOL for years...I thought it would be encouraging to share stories, about successfully resisting cravings for the "bad" carbs like cake, cookies etc. Maybe even how you set your mind up to do it, or how you accomplish it.
I'll go first:
Firstly, a 100% success: Cookies- don't eat them, don't want them anymore. I just interpret them as junk.
Now for another-cupcakes. I got hubby some Easter cupcakes (he was very ill) to cheer him up a bit. Not the best food, but I love to spoil him him presents
They were chocolate with big puffy vanilla frosting on top
They looked soooo good...it was very tormenting.
But I didn't eat any!
I wouldn't call it a 100% success because, compared with cookies, I actually wanted the cupcakes. BUT, my willpower remained strong, especially after falling off the wagon a few times and remembering the consequences!!
