They could replace it with " Chitterling Rings". You get the occasional surprise kernel of corn, but you should probably push that aside.......

Richt, do you have something called Blutwurst there? My family is from Germany and when I lived in NY we could get it occasionally from the local butcher. At our house, we ate everything but the squeal !

We dont get Blutwurst, (well I have never seen them)

We do have Bratwurst, and they are my favourite sausages of all time. So meaty.

blutwurst and black pudding are about the same thing, I figure different countries different names and just slightly different recipes.

Scrapple is a paste made from the excess parts of pigs. It comes in a brick about 6x4 in diameter. You cut off slices about .25" in width and throw thin a skillet and fry them until the outside is a bit crispy but the inside is still soft.

When I was a kid my mom use to make it all the time... in hindsight I think this might have been child abuse

I loved it at the time... was one of my fav foods... quiet good. No way I'd eat it now though.

I wonder what the carb count is on scrapple, anyway. I may have to buy a brick and create an irresistable recipe which I shall post by special request only .

7.2 net carbs per 2 ounce serving according to this site !!http://www.calorieking.com/foods/foo...wMSZwYXI9.html
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
