I love wasabi mayo. I use it almost every time I make a beef roast. I dip each piece of meat in it and enjoy. Yummy!

you are absolutely correct on this as long as the steak is seared and very rare as well

I ordered the sashimi deluxe, which I think had, um...everything Well, nearly everything

Sushi was always one of my favorites...so happy I found out I can eat sashimi! It came with a side order of sushi rice, which I offered to hubby, he loved it. Wow that was on of the best dinners I've had in a while...yumm!!

I've never seen sashimi in grocery stores (at least around where I live). We didn't dine in at the Japanese restaurant, I called in an order for take-out which was fine with me heee heee Hubby got Chinese food take-out so we went home and had a fantastic dinner!

My dog kept mooching me..I told her "No Zuzu, I don't think you'd like this!"

No fresh seafood section in your grocery stores? Cause Sashimi is just raw fish!

                  mmmmmm.......Ahi poke! My favorite
                  Or.....sesame encrusted seared Ahi steak

You can find sashimi grade Ahi in more and more stores now. Fresh is best but Trader Joes does carry frozen

                  slice your Ahi thin
add to it chopped green onion, sea salt, soy sauce and sesame oil....refrigerate for 2 hours and serve with wasabi/soy dipping sauce.

It's wonderful served over lambs ear lettuce

                  seared Ahi
roll your Ahi steak in sesame seeds black and white and sea salt wiht a touch of soy and sear in sesame oil only seconds on each side very hot temp. serve over lambs ear lettuce drizzled with soy/wasabi
Make it a happy low carb life!

LOL...true. I've always thought about making my own sushi (sashimi now), but I'm worried I'd do something wrong and get sick EEK!
