Most likely. I had 26 lbs to lose i lost just under half in the first 6 weeks or so..the rest over about 8.5 months. took me 10 months to get to goal, but it was worth the weight. This is a WOE not a diet, so just stick with it..the weight will come off.

It varies from person to person, but on the bright side those pounds show more than they did before. A 5 lb loss will stand out to you more now than before. I am losing slower now, for sure, but a 2 lb loss feels different now that I am on the last 25 than when I had 125 to lose. Just keep at it! It will pay off!

Thats where I am too but I recently began drinking a gallon of water a day and lost three pounds in two days because of it lol. Seems like the more I drink the more I lose and the more I crave water, crazy. If you add in cardio or weight training if you have not already that will probably help too. Plus, muscles are cool

I don't think so if you're exercising and drinking alot of water.

I only wanted to lose 15 pounds initially and I lost 7 pounds during induction because I was exercising and drinking alot of water. I ended up losing a total of 40 pounds!

A lot of truth in what MommaGlass says. For some people (myself included), the last pounds left as quickly as the first pounds did. For others, they drag off. Either way, you should still be eating as the phase prescribed should be. One cautionary tale is that some people have seen their body respond faster as they increased the carb level if they kept it artificially low. In the last 10-20 pounds after losing a bunch already, you should really start focusing on what your diet will look like after you are done and not focus on quickly dropping the last few pounds. If they do drop fast, great, but it should not be main focus.

                Kent is right.
Dr Atkins told us to lose our last 5-10 pounds slowly on the premaintenance stage of Atkins.
So those peopke looking to lose under 30 pounds in total should not be thinking of spending many weeks on induction as the 'heavyweights' amongst us did, but moving straight into OWL after 14-days induction to allow themselves the time to conduct the OWL 'experiment' and find out if any foods affect them adversley and discover their CCLL.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
