What is wrong with me!? I'm such a screw up. I was doing awesome. 4 months no cheating at all. Couldn't imagine ever cheating then IT happened. I cheated. Told myself jsut this one time. Ha!!! I can't stop cheating now. I wake up every day with the thought to start fresh but fail by night fall. I was only 7 pounds away from my goal. 7 freakin' pounds! Feeling incredible, looking incredible. Now...I can't stop putting crap in my mouth. I have gained back 3 pounds. Ugh* I'm so stupid! Help me. I really need help here.

Re: Somebody kick me!
KICK!
You do NOT want to become complacent with the way you are eating now, especially if you're unhappy because you're gaing it back and it's causing you to eat the bad "good stuff". It isn't healthy, and eventually you will have even more problems than being an unhappy, stressed out fat girl.
Read my "SPOTLIGHT INTRODUCTION" for my story; the same could happen to you. Keep waiting and a higher digit may soon sneak in and replace the first one to the left on your scales!
Beleive me this WOE is by far healthier than your ad-lib cheating, dieting and repeating. And you can drop those 3 pounds on 1500 or more calories, just by avoiding certain foods.
is FUN,TOO!

*Kicks*...*Hugs*..*Kicks*....*Hugs*
You are so lucky your catching it now while your gain back is still low! I kinda did the same thing and the guilt was insane. Not as bad as feeling the poundage come back on though that was the worst. You can totally do this and you have, slipping is human so put it behind you but not too far behind that you forget how heart breaking it is. Now etch it in your mind that you are going to reach your goal. You can totally do this!

Re: Somebody kick me!
Are you eating OWL or premaintance? Induction is wonderfull, but once boredom sets in or we get closer to goal we need to move on. Boredom = cheats. If you are doing induction, wake up and eat protein and fat first thing. Have your carbs later in the day. Protein and fat help to kill those cravings in their tracks. Then after a few days move into OWL and enjoy your food choices. It is a great time to explore new recipes. Make things similar to what you used to eat before. Something satisfying to your taste buds as well as your bodies needs. I love baked potatoes and always will, but instead I eat mashed cauliflower with a little cream and butter and then melted cheese and crisp bacon on top. Close enough to give me a taste for something I miss. There are some wonderfull cheesecakes to try. Or even a layered fruit and cream parfait. a cool and creamy spring treat.
Look at all the possibilities for the wonderfull OWL foods out there. Really look at what you can have and go grocery shopping and get some of those things. Yesterday is gone, get started again today and keep going.

Re: Somebody kick me!
Thanks you guys. I really can't believe how bad this feels. I am screwing up and just feel out of control. Thing is, every time I eat some thing bad I physically feel like crap. You'd think that would tell me some thing. I'm a slow learner I guess. LOL I feel like I need some one watching over me because I can't do it on my own any more. Why can't I be accountable for myself!? Stupid Pinky, Stupid! I just told my DH that starting Monday I am going back to strict Induction(I've been in Pre-Maint) to see if that will pull me out of this spiral. It would help if he would stop telling me how amazing I look. LOL! That is really not helping. I need tough love! Thank you so much. I need to start reading this board every day again to help keep me focused.

Re: Somebody kick me!
Good for you for deciding to get back on the Atkins WOE!!
Get back on induction for long enough to get back into ketosis then go back to your pre-slip level of premaintenance.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Re: Somebody kick me!
Why wait till Monday?
You can do this and you can do this now. You stop the cheating today, this minute, you won't have to undo the damage that will come between now and Monday.
You know what you want. Now go get it.
Youuuuu can doo EEEEEET!!
Pinky Malone is a tough girl's name.
Be a tough girl. put your tempting cheats away. Stick them in a container inside a container, inside another container. Now you will have to make an effort to dig them out. Leave notes in the layers to yourself reminding yourself about how you feel when you eat that junk. You are so close!
Go read the Self sabatoge sticky.
You have worked too hard to let it all go. Don't waste your hard work. Get back at it and do it NOW!!

Re: Somebody kick me!
Somebody kick me!I'm such a screw up.
The way we talk to ourselves is so imortant. Would you talk to a best friend this way? Would you talk to
your pet this way?
To succeed with Atkins you need to be your own best friend. Surround yourself with loving words.
How about "I love me forever" and "I'm such a success."
Please be kind when you speak to yourself. You are precious.
