  • Feeling guilty for no good reason...

So anyways, I have this bracelet, and I said I would not take it off until I reached my goal weight (or somewhere close to it. Darn this lean muscle for being so heavy.) Well, I was at work, and my bracelet got caught on a box flap, and my bracelet stretched. I was looking over it, and I noticed that the elastic popped in one area, and the outer material was holding it together. Bracelet is still fine, but a little loose.

It happened again, and now the material is getting ready to tear. So I took off the bracelet and put it in my pocket. I told myself I wouldn't cheat, and I haven't. I am keeping my promise, even though I told myself that I don't need a bracelet to keep it. But the moment I took that bracelet off, I wanted to cry. I felt like I was breaking my promise. But, I had no choice. I didn't want to break my bracelet, lose any of the beads, and possibly not be able to fix it ever.

The guilt was so bad, I put the bracelet on again. This time, around my ankle. As soon as work was done, it was back on my wrist. I still haven't had a chance to fix it, because I'm afraid I'll feel so bad, I would consider cheating. It's just my natural response to guilt. But, I need to fix this bracelet. Should I eat a big steak prior to fixing my bracelet so I'm not tempted?

Cheer up SkaPalladin you havent cheated yet!!

If wearing the bracelet makes you feel more committed to your new WOE just get it fixed asap and carry on wearing it without guilt.

It is not as if you removed it and threw it away - you removed it to make sure you didnt lose it and it has been on your person all the time. Even while repairing it you will be holding it so you will still have it on your body!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Change your paradigm if need me. Make it that you won't fix the bracelet until... or that you'll carry the bracelet with you until....
