  • Newbie With Questions

    Hello,

I recently joined the board, and have been lurking more or less since I started the program again, but I have been doing alot of reading of the forums and really learning alot....I have both the DANDR and the DAEssentials, which I plan to read over the weekend.

Just wanted to say that my jeans were almost falling off of me at work today, so I am very encouraged.

I ate some peanuts yesterday only because I really, really had to. How many days will that set me back? Also is there anyway I can accelerate the weight loss (I know, don't eat peanuts ).

    Thanks,

    LMA

Loose jeans are awesome, congrats! For me drinking water has been a huge help and seems to accelerate weight loss. I have been drinking a gallon a day and its totally helping, prolly destroying my prostate though haha. Also if at all possible doing cardio or weight training is a huge help. I dont know if peanuts set you back or not but the past is the past, if I were you I would throw them out and move forward sister!

LOL at your siggy. Actually, the peanuts I copped at a stop to the gas station. A small single serving pack, so it is behind me. I love water and drink almost a gallon a day as well and thank you for the excersing top.

      Thank you kindly,

You won't be too bad on the peanuts, it is not messurable in 'days set back', just see it as a lesson learned: make sure you always got something legal at hand !
What Tommy suggests is all good, make sure you drink your water and do your excercise.
Also make sure you take your vitamins.
Think of it as something you are going to do for the rest of your life anyway, you will get there, persistence is the word to hang on to.

I agree with the exercise, vitamins, and water. May I also add measurement to this list. It can be a better indicator most of the time. You may not see the scale moving, but you could see the tape measure. That will definately keep you motivated.

LMA, are you just starting your induction??? If I were you and If I had just started induction less the 2 weeks ago and need to loose 193 lbs. I would start a new clean induction. I myself started at 285 lbs. lost 14 during induction and am working on an extended induction. I say working on simply because everyone cheats at one time or another and some times on accident. It's going to happen. You just have to make sure that you jump right back on track. Good luck and keep us updated. If there is anything I can do to help please just ask.
