  • Do *you* count Splenda as a carb?

I am seeing different things, just wondering what the rest of you do.

(One carb per serving/packet of Splenda)

Thanks, atkid. Fitday won't even allow the carb count since it's non caloric, but I remember Dr. A saying to count it anyway.

actually fit day will allow it if you input it as a custom food and you log it correctly. packets are not 0 cal nor 0 carb liquid Splenda is 0 carb zero carb. the carbs are in the filler

Thanks 2big, do you still count items that use Splenda as a sweetner toward the sweetner count? Say for instance soy milk that includes Splenda in the ingredients.

every thing that includes any sweetner you count a serving of based on manufacturers serving size as a serving like the canned colas say 8 ounces is a serving so 12 ounce cans have 1.5 sevings.

I'm one of the few Splenda challenged folk and splenda sweetened stuff causes me to have massive cravings fro sweets so I neverr use it
