  • US shopping

My uncle and aunt live in the States (West-Virgina to be precise) and they are visiting us in a few months time.
What does this have to do with Atkins , well, they can bring me lots of US goodies
ANd I thought this is the right time to ask for a few low carb lifesavers. I'm definitely asking for a very big box of Splenda, but what else is really worth asking for?

    A side of beef...

All joking aside, maybe some splenda soda that isn't available in your area. Maybe some shirataki noodles? What items are not available to you?

I tell you what to order if you send me some herring !!!!

Ok, now serious, actually there is except for the splenda not that much there is to order, that is to my humble opinion.
Maybe some soda indeed, cause you can't find the ones that are sweetened with splenda overthere, for the rest I never changed my way of eating since I moved here, so there are no special things I buy now that I couldn't buy there.
Even worse: there is certain things from the NL that I really really mis here, like the artificial tastes I was able to buy at the toko in all those lovely tastes (I wish I had brought them!), cause you can mix those with for example cream to have something different.
Or the saladmixes in small packages that have no carrots cause they are cheaper there and more variations or herring and dutch shrimp hmmmmmmMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm.
btw you can find shirataki (konyakku) noodles at toko's in NL.
