  • A little bit of early morning inspiration

I heard about this man on the early morning news... he's walking across America because he's sick of being fat! He's walked over 2800 miles and lost 100 pounds.

    Here's the main site:
    http://www.thefatmanwalking.com/

and here's a link to his background story, on the left there's a menu with all his old journal entries detailing his long, long walk... this is my favorite part of the site:
    http://www.thefatmanwalking.com/page/65347/

The way I see it, if this man can pull himself through 2800 miles of walking, then I can stay faithful to my exercise program and WoE.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

    Vigilance, not perfection.

    Changing-

Thanks for the link. A very inspired man, indeed! I can't imagine myself ever taking myself out of my life to pursue something so completely different and goal focused. I have immense respect for anyone with the courage to do so.

The very idea has me thinking very hard about the whole idea. Time to hit my journal!!!

    Thanks again!

    S.

Hmmm walk 2800 miles or eat less carbs? My A.D.H.D. would kick in on mile 2 and I would forget what I was doing. Thats guy is an awesome inspiration and I hope his story changes others lives as well. I love stories like that.
