I can say that personally...My pms has been better and worse in some ways. Better because I haven't gotten my usual bout of headaches and backaches. Worse because I was about 5 times more irritable and about 20 times more over-emotional. The emotional thing with me was Bad this month. Usually it's just a PMS thing for me, but it's been the entire duration...I've just been up and down. And that's made my eating and not cheating, much harder. Because I think I'd usually deal with all of this with a big bowl of chocolate ice cream (or two....and donuts.. ) and this time I've just had to ride it out. And I've also noticed it's been longer this time...not nearly as heavy at all, but much longer.
But the great thing for me - No cramps! And I've always gotten horrid cramps, like me laying in bed for the first few days, wanting to die cramps...I might as well have had stock in Midol because I had to take those to feel like I could survive. Haven't needed them (and wouldn't take them anyway because of all the caffiene) and that's been great.
Now if I could just get the emotions toned down....

Since on Atkins I'm regular like clockwork. I get crampy and nauseaus on my first/second day and then all is well. My problem is the two weeks before it....OMG I turn into a raving lunatic. So, for 2 weeks of the month I'm just sweet as pie, and then 2 weeks of being (as Heidi put it) Godzilla. I actually feel sorry for my husband....he bears the brunt of it. I've done the primrose oil...but it doesn't seem to help that. The bad part is I *KNOW* that my emotions are going whacky...and the rational part of me knows it's irrational behavior, but I just can't control it. I feel rage. Soooooooooooo...I'm hoping to get this weight off, get preggo, have the baby and then go back on Depo Provera for the rest of my life LOL

Thanks for all the responses. I am going through a very difficult PMS time here. I am so bloated, irritable and feel so totally out of sorts - way more than I have ever experienced. I purchased the Primrose Oil, thanks for the suggestions.
It is a real bummer to go through induction during PMS time.

L Glutamine saved me from PMS. ZERO sweets cravings! I can't believe it really. I fell face first every cycle, but not anymore. The scale is moving (slowly but moving) and the cravings are gone!
