  • snack ideas!!

    hello...
    I desperately need handy snack ideas... I am on induction. Does that limit me to celery sticks, meat & cheese???

    Snack ideas:

    Bacon Lettuce Rollups (like a BLT minutes the toast and the tomato!)

    Cream cheese inside ham slices or turkey slices or roast beef slices rolled up

    Cucumbers topped with sour cream

      pepperoni with a dot of cream cheese, put in the toaster until the cheese is warm

      deviled eggs

      red or yellow bell pepper with cream cheese or Tuna fish salad

      slice of cheese fried until brown...let cool...makes cheese crisps

      jalapeno poppers, cut in half, take out membranes and seeds, stuff with cream cheese, wrap with bacon and bake.

          mmmmmm I forgot about jalepeno poppers. Putting that on my list for snacks for next weekends nascar race. haha

              I like to make peperoni chips. Microwave pepperoni slices for 30 seconds or so until they are krispy (might need more time, can't remember, just watch them). Then dip into anything, ranch, sour cream, I especially love to make spinach dip and dip them in that.

              OMG, all this talk of food is making me hungry.
