IMHO, no. I would advise against gum, sugar free or the sugar laden stuff. There is a big possibility that it is going to give you a taste for sweet stuff again.

If you are asking due to trying to find something to freshen breath, you can either chew on some parsley or carry around a mini bottle of mouth wash to gargle with.

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

I personally suffer from the WORST breath when Im in ketosis. I chew gum regularly. sugar free, lowest sugar alcohols I can find. Its not caused a problem for me and I do pay attention to it. As Rich said though... you are farther off to eat parsley or carry mouthwash.

I think that Ice Breakers "Liquid Ice" is a good option. It does not contain sugar alcohol and it is very yum (IMO). I am a gum freak though and I use gums that contain only certain types of sugar alcohol. Maltitol makes me stall so I don't use gum that has any in it.

Just remember that although certain foods can stall person A it does not necessarily mean it will affect person B. My best advice is to test out your options.

By the way: Only one flavor of Ice Breakers "Liquid Ice" contains sugar alcohol: Cool Mint. So if you can't handle it don't get that flavor.
