I'm getting bored of ranch, and caesar. I can't find low carb dressings in my local stores anymore other than ranch. I am really wanting a french or raspberry vinagarette. Where do you buy online? Do any of you have a recipe for low carb dressing that you would like to share?

Re: Recommendations for salad dressings
You can made your own dressing...far more inexpensive and you can eat it freshly made.
Here's a link to Julia Child's vinaigrette. You can vary it by adding fresh herbs of your choice or adding garlic or using a different vinegar/citrus juice.

Re: Recommendations for salad dressings
I made my own vinaigrette with really good olive oil, freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt and pepper.
I like my ratio to be a teaspoon of lemon for every tablespoon of olive oil. It's completely up to you though.
First, I add lemon to the bowl
Then VERY slowly drizzle the olive oil into the lemon, whisking the entire time.
I'm sure you could crush a few fresh raspberries and mix into that.
salt & pepper if you like.
Now granted, I make mine for one serving only. I like it really fresh, I guess. But, you could make as little, or as much as you wanted.
Hope this helps
PS - Most people use vinegar in this recipe. However, I switched from vingear to fresh lemon after I had a yeast scare, thinking I would just use it for a little while. Even after I bought organic apple cider vingear, I continued to use the fresh lemon, because I loved it so much.Dawn

Re: Recommendations for salad dressings
It isn't raspberry or french vinaigrette, but Newman's Own Olive Oil & Vinegar has no sugar and has .5 carb per tablespoon. It's ingredients are:
olive oil, vegetable oil, water, red wine vinegar, onion, spices, salt, garlic, lemon juice, and distilled vinegar.
It isn't Hidden Valley Ranch, but it's above average.Katie Washington

When you take the first step and accomplish that tiny little act, the necessity of which may be apparent only to you, you will be astonished to feel that the effort, rather than exhausting your strength, has doubled it—and that you already see more clearly what you have to do next." –Philippe Vernier
