  • realistic goal?

    I am going on a cruise on June 11-15. I am on my 4th day of clean induction, and have lost 7 pounds. I was wondering what is a realistic weight loss goal to set between now and the cruise.

    Also, any advice on how to achieve the most weight loss b/w now and then would be much appreciated.

    I see you are a Boot Camp Recruit. Being a former BC Drill Sargeant, I can tell you if you complete your Boot Camp experience and use the knowledge you gain from your Boot Camp assignments, you will maximize your weight loss.

    As for setting goals, they are up to you. Personally, I think losing weight is a big pain in the a$$ and I never want to go through this ever again. So in my instance, losing weight so fast that I don't un-learn my bad habits will only land be back in Induction again. I'd rather lose weight gradually, learn some good lifestyle habits, and maintain my goal.

      When I was at that stage of losing, I lost about 6-8 pounds in 3 weeks. Just keep in mind, everyone is different. Betty (ttdriver) just went on a cruise and found many Atkins choices while traveling.

        I feel weightloss/time goals can be selfdefeating, as if you don't reach them they can make you feel you have failed even though you have lost as much weight in the time as your body could manage!

        I always set goals that I can have some control over - like so many days without eating offplan, or so many minutes so many days a week of exercise etc.
        Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
