  • Should I count the carbs when "snitching"?

    I hoped this title would get some good attention, because OF COURSE the answer is yes. Every carb truly counts. Today was sample day at the grocery store and I went hungry and have no one to blame but myself. While indulging in the high carb bites, I did make SURE to keep track of how much I ate so I could log it in to fitday and make up for it today and tomorrow. Please look at my journal and see how fast those babies add up...

    I am not happy with what my totals will look like at the end of the day. BUT, I am proud of the control I was able to have surrounded by all those treats. That is new

    next time go to the deli and buy a slice of your favorite cheese or real meat like roast beef or real turkey and just eat that. scan the pack at the chekout and you are paid for and not high carbing it.

      That's a great idea, 2big. I do find that I am a modicumof self-control and discipline if I go grocery shopping AFTER a satisfying dinner. Otherwise I shop with my stomach...
