  • That was SOOO not worth it...

Ugh, I really don't like myself right now. I'm up 2 pounds this week. This week I was fairly good, although I haven't measured like I should or exercised either. Well, in return, I stayed at the same weight all week. Then this weekend I broke down. With TOM (no excuse, but still... ) and the busy weekend we had I ended up cheating a lot. After the weekend was over I had half a bottle of wine, a piece of pizza (and it wasn't even very good!) and a handful of candy. Not to mention, no exercise, and probably less than 24 oz of water all weekend (a full 12 pack of diet rite was the culprit!). Shame on me! Now I'm 2 pounds heavier, and miserable! I thought I would've gained a lot more, but I REALLY lucked out! I changed my ticker and everything, as now I need to start working hard to get those 2 pounds off again. One thing I did notice though that was great. Even though the pizza called my name (I heard it! I swear! ) other stuff like pasta, rice, bread, and potatoes aren't even tempting me anymore! actually, the thought of eating that stuff makes me sick at this point! Go figure, as I was a total carb-aholic before this WOL! That is something I'm so excited about! Back to the drawing board, and hopefully wandering off the path like this doesn't push my progress back any further! If anyone wants to know, cheating is NOT worth it!

Don't be so hard on yourself. Today is a new day and you are grabbing the opportunity to make the better choices. I know that personally TOM always takes me for a ride. Good for you that you are not a quitter. Remember that the failure is not in the 'falling down', it's in the 'not getting up'. We've all been there and we're here to lend a hand.

I'm blaming it on the weather! It's so cold, damp and yucky here in the Northeast! Let's chalk it up to that and look forward to the sunshine!

I know when it's nicer out, I tend to exercise more, drink more (water that is ) and am more aware of what my body looks like!

The warmer air will encourage us all to talk a nice, long, brisk walk and soak up the sun!

Don't beat yourself up, Cassi, you're well on your way!

I'm all for blaming the weather. I started this WOE in april... I wouldn't have lasted 24 hours if I tried starting in early feb... its been cold and rainy here and my energy is crap, im having cravings again... haven't cheated, but omg did I want a doughnut yesterday morning. Damn our reps for bringing them constantly lol. Actually im really worried about keeping up with this once the cold snowy buffalo winter comes up again and all I want to do is eat bad food and sleep... hopefully I'll have my willpower under control by then, it comes so early up here!
