New drivers license

I had to go in to renew my drivers license last week. I passed their eye test (barely) and the woman asked me if I wanted them to take a new photo, then turned her computer monitor to show me the old one.

The old one was probably taken 5 years ago when I last renewed. Needless to say I was quite a bit heavier then. That really brought home to me just how big a difference Atkins has made. Little things like that are quite encouraging too!

Of course I asked her to take a new photo. And to think I stalled and procrastinated on getting the license renewed! It turned out to be fun!

Now I'm even more determined to get down to my goal and stay there!

I had the same reaction today at the bank. They asked to see my driver's license to take money out of my account. I gave her my DL, and she looks at it, looks at me, and then tells me I don't look like my photo. I of course break into the whole 200 pound loss, but she still didn't really believe it. She goes to ask me my Social Security #, and then does another doubletake to the photo. I don't know I may have to get mine redone if I plan to withdraw any money in the future.

lol Kent. That's too funny. I can just imagine the bank teller eyeing you one over and looking at the license.

I'd never thought about the photo on the licence before. I suppose when I get down to smallville, I'll have to replace photos on my license and credit cards. Oh, and passport too.

That's something worth thinking about because I hate how I look in all those photos.
