  • my UPDATE !!!!

    UPDATE

    I have an update to give . we both have lost some weight , hubby is losing in pounds I am losing in inches . I have lost 2 inches of my waist and hubby has lost 10 pounds. My weight is the same , so I am wondering if I am losing in inches why isn’t the weight coming down . I am happy to be losing in inches as I can actually see the difference.

    My weight - 136

    After 1st week -134

    After 1st week and 2 days - 132.

    After 3 weeks - 130

    MY GOAL WEIGHT - 120

    You are probably exchanging fat for muscle!!

    Not only does muscle take up less space than fat but it helps you burn more calories too so your body is getting not only slimmer but more efficient too!!

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

      yep your scale weight will change soon too. remember nobody sees those pounds lost unless you tatoo the number on your forehead but walk in with those loose fitting clothes in your smaller body and folk will take notice.

        thank you guys .,.. we just checked our weight ... my waist is gone to 29 from 32. and hubby has lost from 236 to 220 now. i have come down from 136 to 132... i am happy. Hubby is not excercising but i am excercising atleast 1/2 hr everyday.... and drinking 8 glasses of water ... i want to reach 120 fassssssstttttttt now... i am so excited........

          oh by the way hubby is losing without any excericse .. how is that possible ? he has lost 16 pounds with 0 excercise?

            Was, Am, Will be: 280/222/175ish.
            Started Dec 2005 and lost 105 lbs by mid 2006, maintained loss for the most part until 2009...then really let go & gained some back... lol

            so:

            12/28/09 ~ 235.1
            01/04/10 ~ 229.0
            01/11/10 ~ 229.0 Grrrrr....
            (Induction= only 6lbs but lost 10 inches! yay)

              Maybe he's losing without exercise because he has more to lose than you?
              Seems like a lot of people can lose pretty fast without exercising... I don't get it - if I don't exercise NOTHING happens... Grrr.... of course if I workout and eat carbs NOTHING happens... If I follow Atkins and exercise faithfully I drop weight and inches.
              Who knows!
              I'm sure one of the pro's will have some interesting thoughts about this... *hint hint to the pros!*

                first of all i would like to say that you are really very pretty... yes hubby has alot to loose .. thats why maybe he is losing ... whereas me i have not much to loose and thats why need to put in hard work. and yes he does loose weight very fast. if only he excercised he would have lost double .. and that would have been an awesome result for him... but he is happy this way...

                  lol I'd be happy too if I were losing like him! Tell him congrats for me! And you just keep on doing what you're doing because it's working and sooo worth it!

                    Thnk you , and yes will convey it to him... it feels great to loose and off late i feel energetic as well. yesterday went for a long walk and took dear hubby along as well

                      Haha, well you're lucky he let you drag him with you... mine would rather have his toes cut off then walk or anything else "healthy"...lol.

                        lets see i plan on taking him today as well . want to see if i succeed . actually yesterday i cheated him. told him lets go check the mail and then took him for a walk

                          lol I now see the error of my ways... I've gotta trick him! what have I been thinking?!?
                          You could say "honey I think I have a flat tire, come take a look"... then when you get out there say "hmm thats funny, I swear it was flat earlier...oh well lets go for a walk!"

                              lol no, when I mentioned that we should go for a walk to get some exercise he suggested something else... something else was much funner! lol (TMI? )
