  • Menu changes..please advice

    I (re)looked at my menu and did some changes. I was able to get 20g and get my calories up ( I was unable to get it above 1000).

    Now:

    My rations are 68% fat, 27% protein, and 5% carbs at 1455 calories using eggbeaters.

    My rations are 71% fat, 24% protein, and 4% carbs at 1633 calories using eggs.

    Do you think it's best if I use the whole eggs to get my calories up??

    Again you seem obsessed with the 20 grams of carbs. look again at your DANDR it is the upper limit not the strive to eat number for induction. At least 1/2 of your carbs have to be your 3 cups of veggies so you are doing a good job getting in those veggies.

    You are closer to the correct ratios with your egg beaters so if you like them and can afford them have them.

    Are you feeding your hunger and stopping when it is satisfied? that should be the determining factor on how high your cals are for the day

      It just seems that if I don't eat all 20 grams, my calories are WAY LOW ( and I won't be getting enough fat intake)

      1200-1400 calories is pretty close to being "low-fat" in my thoughts.

        low fat and low cal are not the same. eat 12 ounces of cream cheese 1200 cals with 1080 of them being fat very high fat day 90% low carb too 8 net or less then 1% of the cals from carbs
