  • It's Wiki-Time - and you are invited to a Wiki-Party!

Its Wiki-Time, Wiki to your left Wiki to your right, Wiki wiki wiki wiki wiki everybodys doing the wiki tonight.

Well as you all know there is nothing more fun than an empty Wiki so we are hosting a Wiki-Party.

The idea is that there is an empty wiki. This means that there are tons of Articles that are a blank slate.

It also means that you can create an article to just about any subject.

    Here are the plans:

    1) We will all meet at : http://www.lowcarbwiki.com
    2) Create an account for yourself and log in http://www.lowcarbwiki.com/index.ph...urnto=Main_Page then http://www.lowcarbwiki.com/index.ph...urnto=Main_Page
    2) Think of a low carb term that you would like to see listed. Or really anything you want ... even if it is off topic. Use the search button on the main page or do the following:
type : http://www.lowcarbwiki.com/index.php/<Topic _NAme> where topic name is your topic that you want to add( make spaces underscores ) like:
    http://www.lowcarbwiki.com/index.php/Atkins_Diet

    3) If that page does not exist you will come to a page that looks like :
There is no page titled ":joes diet". You can create this page.

If you click on create_this_page you can write the article.
You can add links to other topics by adding the tags :
    [[new topic]] something like:

A low carb diet is a diet that is low in [[Carbohydrates]]

Now that will add a link to the page Carbohydrates. If page carbohydrates does not exist it will become red. If it does exist it will be blue.
    4) If you click on a red link you will be brought to the page that asks to "create_this_page" click on that and write an article.
    5) If a page exists ... like at: [[Atkins Diet]] or http://www.lowcarbwiki.com/index.php/Atkins_Diet
you can click any of the edits to edit the page.

    6) The idea here is that we can have running pieces of information. Someone could start an article and another person can finish it ... or edit it or proofread it.

    7) You could request articles to be added.

It really is fun to wiki. So its Wiki-time and time for the Wiki-Party so come on down to wiki town at:
    http://www.lowcarbwiki.com

and start searching and clicking on red links ( or blue links ) and write some articles. If you need help pm me and I will help you out. Hope you enjoy it.
