  • Retaining Water?

So far today, I've done my Pilates and an exercise DVD... I already drank 100 oz. of water and am sticking close to the bathroom. Yet my ankles are swollen. I haven't eaten any salt or anything I'm not supposed to. It's hot and humid here. Other than putting my feet above my heart, is there anything I can do to reduce the swelling?

the heat and humidity can do it honey just keep doing what you are doing and you will adjust ....whenever I visit my parents in Florida my hands and feet swell then when I come home they are fine ....we have very low humidity here ....

Oh my God. The humidity. The summers in RI I just wanted to DIE. Both me and my mother sweat very little, no matter how much water we consume. We both just wanted someone to pop us and let all the water leak out.

You might want to try a cool bath?

I never thought of massage or an Epsom salts bath. I'll try those. Thank you!

Thanks, 2big. It's all better now but it's so humid here again so I expect them to swell right back up. Humidity and I do not get along well at all.
