  • Help..I cant lose weight

    Help pleese somebody tell me why is it that for 2 weeks straight i have worked out every day for 1 hour with billy blanks ultimate Tae Bo and havent lost 1 pound !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    whats wrrooooooooooong... i have actually gained weight and now have the flu i have really been busting my butt in my living room with this DVD i sweat like crazy and i really keep up and my diet has been good

    Hi.

    List below a couple of daily menu's and all that you have eaten and drunk, and we can see if you are eating something that could be stopping you lose.

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      Breakfast: eggs and ham, tea with splenda or coffee

      Lunch: chicken salad with diet pepsi

      Dinner: Stir fry chicken or chickn soup with carrots and diet jiuce

      i drink about 40 oz of water a day

          When you start a new exercise routine, your body sends water to the new muscle cells and you often see a gain, and then a Whoooooosh a few days later.

          You might want to stick to the induction foods list for a couple days to make sure you are in ketosis too. Diet pepsi can be a problem, might try a few days w/o it.
          What is it, a RACE? It's coming off, right????

            There is unfortunately a lot of things that you arent doing correct here.

            1) No vegetable, except for stir fry and carrots. Carrots are not permitted during induction. What other vegetables are in your stir fry? Also, you should split your 3 cups of veggies fairly evenly throughout the day.
            2) No diet soda, especially coke in induction.
            3) 40 oz of water is no where near enough. You need to drink a minimum of 64 oz a day, plus an extra 8 oz for each 25 lbs you want to lose
            4) Most kinds of soup are also illegal during induction, due to the thickening agents used.
            5) I am not sure what "diet juice" you are referring to, but it also sounds as though that is incorrect also.
            6) tea and coffee are not allowed during induction either. Caffeine is a known staller.

            I am sorry if it sounds as though I am being picky and being strict, but you did ask.

              U see the thing is i know that caffein or diet soda is goine to stallllll my weight loss..but for heaven sake not even 1 pound, their are poeple who lose weight by just excersisng alone and a regular diet and pleeese dont tell me about gaining muscle. not losing any weight is not normal for a person who has been working out as hard as i have been, thats 14 days in a row for 1 hour ! i dont get sore anymore from the work out...i actually feeling like giving up the work out

                there are some people who will lose by excercise alone, and some wont. I guess you fall in the "some won't" category.

                Muscle does weight more than fat btw, so that is another big possibilty.

                Cut out the carrots, caffeine and soda and see what happens. You may be surprised.

                Also, what is the "diet juice"?

                  Gaining muscle is a reality. Did you happen to take measurements?

                    hey well my stomach does look a little flatter i think i better measure my self tonite and then get back to ya on that later... its just that seeing less on the scale feels sooo good
