Ok, well after witnessing the effect of intense prayer on my daughter's surgeries I have to say that I am a big believer in the power of prayer.
I have this very important interview today that could will be a huge deciding factor for my future. It is for a scholarship that I am applying for, 20,000 bucks to go to grad school. I have to go before a panel of facutly members and speak flawless Spanish to prove that I am bilingual, and also tell them how I plan to help Latinos once I obtain my MSW and PhD.
This scholarship would pay for my entire masters and give me some spending money for books and a computer and other stuff that I need for school. If I don't get the scholarship I will have to seriously consider not furthering my education.
So ... to make a long story long, (lol, sorry for all the background), if those of you reading this post believe in some form of higher power I would really appreciate if you could say a short little prayer so that I will do well today.
My interview is at 1:30 and I am really nervous, it is a competative scholarships, they have 10 applicants and are only giving out 5 scholarships. Please pray for me to get one of these.
Ultimatly whichever way it works out I know that God is watching out for me, and if He wants me to go on with my education I will get that scholarship and if He doesn't then I wont. But I feel that God has a master plan for me, and it involves me being very academically educated, so I really want to get it.
Anyway, thanks for your time, I'll post here later and let you guys know how it goes. Yikes! I feel the butterflies dancing around in my stomach.
