...FAT-BURNING MACHINE!! What the heck is G-Mom talking about? Well, we have an in-ground pool at our new house and now that is up and running, my two boys and I have been swimming and jumping and swimming and jumping for at least six hours everyday!!!

HOLY COW..or well holy something smaller cause I ain't gonna be a cow for long at this rate!

I'm so jealous! I love to swim...but don't have anywhere to go. Congratulations on the new house!

Thanks! We were pretty lucky to have found this house with the pool. We live in Nebraska, where it gets really hot (100 degrees yesterday), but not many folks get pools.

@Liz: My boys get tons of sunscreen, I got some yesterday only after I burned . I have dark skin naturally so I tend to neglect the protection--not so good, I know!

Girl, where are you in Nebraska? I was born and raised in Omaha .. and remember those hot summers very well (along with the frigid winters...brrrrrrrr!)

That is soo cool! Its great too feel good about swimming and other activities we used to shun. Like looking at myself in the mirror naked! Now I just stand there for hours and hours naked looking into the mirror haha JK but its easier now.

Ha! Too funny Tommy! Nobody said I was all comfy in a bathing suit, but it's just me, my hubby and my boys so that's not so bad.

The best thing about it is that it is a fun way to exercise and stay cool at the same time. I love to walk and miss walking greatly (I broke my leg then had knee surgery so walking was out for awhile), but now I think I can start up again. Swimming is so fun that I don't realize I am burning calories so I think I can walk as well.
