  • Diet Coke With Cherry

Saw this for the first time today, had to try.
Not bad, better than diet coke but it was still far too sweet for me.
This sugar addicted, coke guzzling Scotsman now can't even drink diet sodas, they're all too sweet for me and I just LOVE my water!!!

    Thankyou so much Dr. Atkins.

Oh yeah, I had 3 sips and then poured it away.
Am now sitting here with my litre bottle of Volvic water.

President, you sound like me. Every now and then I decide to get a diet coke or a diet sprite, take about 3 or 4 sips and throw it away because it tastes like syrup. Yuck! Gimme the water baby!

LOL! I tried it pre Atkins and it was ok. Prefer Dr Pepper anyday tho! I dont bother with fizzy drinks anymore, even the diet stuff, it just tastes disgusting. Plus I worry that the caffiene will stall my weight loss. Ever had diet caffiene free coke? Its like fizzy water, yuck!

I am so with you on the soft drinks tasting too sweet! At the gym I had forgotten my water bottle so bought one from the machine not realising it was a flavoured water !! Yeuch!! I tipped it out after one gulp and refilled it from the water fountain!

I (secretly) tried it and omg, I was nearly sick! I used to be ADDICTED (and I meant addicted!) to cherry coke and dr pepper. Now, even the smell of it makes me sick!

I have to admit, I still have my diet coke though. I hate it, it tastes like brown water, but when you work 14 hours a day you kinda need something to stop your head hitting the table lol. But I have cut down greatly on it. I just can't handle coffee (blah) and caffeine doesnt seem to affect me, so why not? It hasn't stalled me to my knowledge, not that I'm telling people to drink it, cause its wrong, oh so wrong lol

              Hi

Water is so much better for you, all the 'rubbish' that is added into these soft
drinks are not good at all. The rubbish has to come out some how, in
your skin, waste or stored in your vital organs. The sweeteners used
will also increase your blood sugar levels causing your body to
release insulin thus storing and converting into fat deposits, undoing
all your great work. Do not under estimatethe effects of the
              sweeteners in it!
Pure fresh water is so good for you .

              Have a great day .
