  • Water water water..

    You know what i realised,
drinking all this water (2 liters a day) leaves no room for you to drink nothing else!!!
I keep a 1.5 liter water bottle with me at my desk and its basically finishesd before 2:00 pm in the day
but man sometimes a just want something else to drink...i have to be forcing my self to down all this water..
Is anybody feeling his way too?

Before long you will actually begin to like it. I feel wierd now if I dont drink enough. Very strange.

I rarely drink anything but water. The occasional iced tea, but mostly water. At this point, anything else tastes sickeningly sweet to me. Just keep drinking it!

I have a question about water intake!! Sorry to hijack ur thread leecy.

If you drink 2 litres a day and upped to 3 litres, would you lose weight quicker?

I dont know if there is any 'science' behind that idea but I am sure I read here that Bren for one found by upping her water she started to lose weight.

The more water you drink the less likely you are to retain water I have read on these boards.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Although rare, I've personally known people to get "water poisoning". Basically, you dillute your potassium level so low that you become lethargic...or worse. I wouldn't force it. the current Runners magazine has an article on this. .

That being said, I drink a lot of water, yet my doc told me that I'm borderline dehydrated. I told him about my low-carb regimen. He said that low-carbers tend to need more water to stay hydrated ...so the point above is moderated somewhat. I'm sure I'm around 2 liters a day and could still use more.

Personally, I go out of my way to drink a lot of water. If I can add another liter and still feel good, I will. I just wouldn't go insane on it...or do it in steps.
