I'm having a late lunch (very late---thanks Boss!) and thumbing through the August Prevention Magazine. Anyhow, here's a statistic they have on page 76.
% of US adults who consider themselves to be healthy eaters = 64%
% of US adults who are overweight or obese = 64%
Okay, before I went on Atkins I was a low fat vegetarian/vegan and then moved onto a low fat diet. So if someone asked me, was I eating healthy, I would have said "yes". But I was also gaining weight on my "healthy" low fat diet.
Anyone else have a similar experience?
