  • Dont Want To Workout Today

    I just dont want to goooooooooooooo....usually I'm excited about it. But I'm SOOOOO draggy and feeling tired today. I just want to go home, lay on the sofa, watch some tv, eat some potatoe chips or some chocolate or something.....I know I cant do that but thats how I feel.

    I think my TOM is starting....it better be...it's a day late .......man that would suck......

    Someone give me cyber kick in the butt to get me moving to the gym in the next 15 mins.......*sigh*

    *kicks you* Well, you asked lol.

    Just force yourself to work out. I bet you anything that you'll be glad you did it! Especially if you are due your TOM! It'll help things no end

      I didnt want to go 2night but I did, albeit I was still in there 10 mins after closing time! Oops. I felt alot better after going, if I dont go I feel guilty and bad about not going.

      Did you go in the end?


      26 yr 5'2 F
      Did Atkins on and off from Feb 2005 until April 2008. Fluctuated between 15 st 1/211lbs and 11 st 1/155lbs.
      On different weightloss programme from 28th May 2008 start weight 14 st 11/207lbs.
      Current weight 10st 3lbs/143lbs.
      Ultimate Goal Weight 9 st/126lbs.

        Yes I did go in the end.......I did 30 mins on the treadmill at a faster spead than normal.....and then I did 15 mins on a step machine and ended up "walking" or taking 1122 steps in that time at setting 5 and 6 (for tension...it only goes 1-10).

        I felt wonderful after I had gone, only to come home to my mother who argued with me for an hour...then I drove to my guy's house..the one who cheated on me...we had made up and he said he was thru with the other so I gave him a second chance....only when i got there...the girl was there.....she was much younger than me and much heavier....I guess I'm losing too much weight for him....

        At any rate...after 30 mins there of telling the other girl who I was and asking the guy if he was proud of himself..I got another work out.....by slapping him clear across the face....hard enough that he fell back two paces...pretty good workout if I do say so myself....

        I am stress free today...........

          I'm sorry to hear that you've been through all that. That's terrible, but if that's how he acts, he's obviously not good enough for you.

          New start, new you, time to move on! You can do it!

            Thanks...thats how I feel too..........just pains me to know that Im that big of an idiot to give someone a second chance, to give them the benefit of the doubt.....ah well....one of these days ill learn....just a terrible thing that he was the first person I let in my 4 yr olds life since seperation and divorce...poor choice I made....

            And to think...I started him on Atkins and helped him drop a few pounds too...youd think hed be more grateful.... (trying for humor)

            I'm glad I worked out yesterday though....I know its helping....

              No no, don't blame yourself one bit! Just take it as a learning curve. And the fact that you gave him a second chance goes to show that you're kind and that you wanted to just move on with life.

              Now you'll just have to move on without him, but he's the one that's going to get left behind. You go ahead, succeed with life. He's the one that's lost out.

                  I'm so sorry you had to go through such an experience. I know what it means being divorced, the separation and such... but as long as you are doing something good for yourself, things will get better!

                    *hugs again* I'm so proud that you slapped him, you go girl! At least u know now that he went back to his old ways quite early on and that it wasnt further down the line.

                    I second Stephbob, he's the one who has lost out on a fantastic girl.

                    Keep at the gym! It does get easier, about 5-6 weeks it will feel easier and u'll want to lift more weights or run faster or longer

                      Thanks Roshen.....I think it just bothers me so much because this was the first guy since my seperation back in july of 03 (then divorced in Decmeber of 04)....I am actually REALLY surprised that I didnt leap for chocolate or chips or ice cream thru this!! I'm proud of myself for that for sure......perhaps it is because I am going to the gym and I'm able to work it out in other ways......who knew the gym could be such good therapy!!
