  • To weigh or not to weigh??

I am only 2 days into induction, but when should I start going to the scale and using the tape measure?? I don't want to go to soon and get discouraged, but I am so anxious to see already!!

Did you weigh and measure yourself at the begining? If you did, then hold off until induction is over - it's worth the surprise!

I agree with waiting, unless you feel a cheat coming on. Sometimes stepping on the scale and seeing even a little drop will keep you from eating something you shouldn't.

Scale be damned...Set aside some "goal" pants or a skirt or something meaningful and stick with the plan and just keep trying them on and eventually they will fit. Then step on the scale! I generally go about 2 to 3 weeks apart beteen trips to the scale. Most of the time I only lose a couple of lbs. , but it's almost ALWAYS a positive result and I am always encouraged. If I have an occasional cheat along the way it doesn't have a massive impact in the long run. This allows me to live with the diet, but allows me to be human and have a minor cheat once in a while.
        Good luck,
