  • Stir-fry - The Best Atkins Food

So yeah, that's what I think.
It's so easy and effortless to make and you can pretty much throw anything in there and you can make enough to do you a few days.
It's also a great way to get your vegetables and the whole thing is just bursting with vitamins, protein, flavour and goodness.

The other night I made one with steak, broccoli, tender stem broccolli, green beans, peppers and mushrooms. Lots and lots of garlic and chilli and some ginger.

    Delicious.

Today, i had some chicken and prawns left over from another dish, so I cooked them and added to the original stir-fry mix.

So now I have Beef, chicken and prawns with all the delicious veg and all the garlic, chilli and ginger that I love.

So easy try it, you'll thank me!

I often make stirfry when I notice several small pots of leftover meats and veggies in the fridge.
It is a great way of using up the stuff that isnt enough to make a whole portion, but is too much just to throw out!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I like to stirfry cubed chicken with finely chopped veggies then mound the mixture in lettuce bowls and wrap it like a burrito. Nummy!

Re: Stir-fry - The Best Atkins Food

I LOVE stir-fry! Good way to clean out the fridge of any leftover veggies and meat. I like to use coconut or dark sesame oil, depending on what flavor I want.

Making these has also broadened my veggie horizons - water chestnuts, bok choy, sprouts, I throw it all in!

                    I'm rather hungry now.
Am having my din-dins made for me-
Sausages, Bacon rashers, black pudding and poached eggs.
A good ole British fry-up (cept it's grilled and poached, but you catch my drift)

What?! You've never made stir - fry??? You absolutely HAVE to try it - it's pretty much idiot-proof :
Heat some oil, add liquid is optional, choice of veggies optional - put in thickest veggies first. Meat is optional. Whatever you end up with you can still adjust it later with additional ingredients.
