I know we are not supposed to weigh every day but this morning the scale is saying 2 pounds more...could all of that be water ..i did drink extra water yesterday

In one word, YES, up 2 lbs overweight is water weight. You may have eaten more salt then you needed, or if you started a new type of exercise plan your muscles can hold water for a few days or if TOM is approaching. Don't sweat the 2 lbs. keep on track and you can probably expect a nice whooshie in the next few days to rid it.

Dpending on circumstances, the water retained in your body can fluctuate by several pounds. Hormones, exercise, salt and medication are among the causes. Best not to rely so much on the scales as the inches and changes in body composition (ie, muscle replacing fat may weigh more, take up less space)~Susan

wow i just realised could this be it..i ate salted pepperd shrimp yesterday and the salt content was 2500 mg is that a lot of salt27/F/5"6"
