  • Yes! I made it through 2 days straight!

I've been so far off the beaten track lately it's unreal! I've had partial good days, somehow managed to still lose the odd pound or two, but have only given up in the evening and feasted on nasty foods

But 2 days straight is officially a record for me for the last few months! I lost 3 lbs in the last week so far, but despite being 11lbs more than I was before, I'm fitting into my size 6 jeans again, so it must have been the added exercise that did the trick lol

I even seem to have done the impossible, and weaned myself off ketchup and diet coke! Didn't even do that the first time I did Atkins

There's hope fo you all. You just have to find a way to disgust yourself with going off track like I did

I totally understand. I have tried everything from presecription drugs to Nutrisystem. Nothing seemed to work. I have tried Atkins before but could not make it past the 2nd day. I think you have to be determined and looking at yourself in the mirror helps too. If if wasn't for another friend going on Atkins and this board, I really think I would have failed again. If I can do this, anyone can. Keep up the good work. Michelle

Thing is, we all know that this way of life is best and works, so...we'll get there.
It's up to us how long we wanna take.

You look fantastic, congrats. Just keep your mind goal oriented and you'll do it if you want it bad enough! Ketchup is a weakness for me as well, but doing good so far!

Way to get back on board! This is a lifetime thing, we will occasionally slip but we just have to know we can get back up and carry on. Keep up the good work!

Look how far you've come! You look absolutely wonderful!
Get in the kitchen and get creative. That's what I used to do when I got discouraged. I would just browse recipe boards and take a whole day to re-organize my kitchen and re--acquaint myself with the positive (many) features of this wol. Sure beats the heck out of all of that man made processed garbage!

Although I've been trying the last few months to get back on board, I was doing it half-heartedly. I'm kinda glad I slipped up so badly, because it made me able to make a clean start!

By the way, 3 days straight! And 6 miles walked today

                      Steph,

                      Good for you girl!!

There is no shame in stuffing up or getting off track.

The victory is in coming back even stronger, using the knowledge of the alleged stuff up!
