I guess it's the thought that counts.....
Next week is my birthday and because of days off, etc., they decided to celebrate it today. So guess what is in the break room for this celebration?.......cake, a huge bowl of salsa and 3 bags of corn chips.
They all know I'm doing Atkins and they all know what I can and can't eat because they've all done it at some point. I'm not giving in and eating the cake or the chips to make THEM happy.
Am I just being too senstive about this? I feel like it was inconsiderate and just another excuse for them to have the cake.

. Okay who laughed
? It's the same theory as visualizing people in their underwear when you're making a public speech. Visualize them as balloons, cows, pigs, etc. something you equate as being large. Not only is it worth a good laugh but it reminds you what your goal means to you. I don't want to be a ________! (I am not saying being over weight makes you any of the things I mention. Just as a subconscious symbol of the negative self )
