  • husband is home-stress is gone!

Hi, well my husband got a 4 day pass from Georgia where he is deployed! His spinal tap fluid measured a little high, but we are all hoping that he will not have to have shunts put in his head and he can come home. Unfortunately, he will have to go back to his normal duties in Afganistan. Anyway, I really wanted to thank everyone here for being so supportive especially the following:

    SCOOTER
    SARAH1314
    SESHENE36
    ANGELSTAR
    SALLYSEACHANGE

You guys are really encouraging and told my husband all about you and this board. He is thankful that his wife is "getting a life" and focusing on her health instead of feeling sorry for herself! Thanks again, Michelle

I'm so glad you have some time to spend with your husband. Will he have to go back to Afganistan while his spinal tap fluid is measuring high? This doesn't sound safe. I have a friend whose husband couldn't serve over seas because he had high blood pressure, and recent shoulder surgeries. It was alot less tramatic than what your husband is going through. I hope that they let him heal up before they send him back. I will be thinking about you. (((HUGS)))

I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!

Aww is that my name i see?! *rubs eyes*

          Bless u xxx

I'm so glad to hear that he's coming home and you can spend some time together. It must be a great feeling. I can sympathise a little as me and my bf live 30 miles apart and only see each other at weekends. Its frustrating, I can only imagine how it is for you.

I'm glad that ur not sitting around feeling sorry for urself and putting bad foods into ur body. Ur making the positive steps to a healthier you, what can be better than that? I think u should put ur stats on ur signature so we can see ur progress too! Maybe some piccies as well.

Abit off topic here but Dotsamantha....ur so close to ur goal!! I wana see some piccies soon!!
