  • Moving on from ADBB

After 3 years (joined in oct 2003) of being a member of this board, reading it regularly and posting from time to time, I have decided to move on. Richt, a relatively new moderator has decided that he is a censor and that if anyone posts anything that HE doesn't like or agree with, he will delete their post or give them negative reputation score. To Richt I will say that I've never violated any rules of this board, nor have I given "inaccurate" advice or comments, yet you continue to believe I do and give me negative rep ratings and delete my threads. Since I don't see you discontinuing this childish behavior anytime soon (as it continues to happen time and time again) I am moving on to another, more understanding community [I shall not post its name for fear that again I will have this post deleted once again].

So, to all my friends here, sorry to say goodbye, but I just don't see the point in posting any further.

Hope to see you all on that *OTHER* board

      Re: Moving on from ADBB

Since you brought this to the open, let's get the facts straight:
      • Rich is an administrator here not a moderator.
      • As for deleting posts, the one you posted recently about the Splenda was moved because he felt there might have been commercial interest. I believe he did pm on you the subject, and if there was not a commercial (I'll sell a portion of the gallon of Splenda) thing happening then I am surethe thread would have been returned to where it was originally posted.
      • As for any other deletes, I searched the TOS Violations for any otherof your post and found only the objectionable Atkins **** post, which name-calling or certainly inflammatory does tread the edge of TOS. The inaccurate post was the notion that gaining any muscle under Atkins is impossible.
      • Obviously posting links to competitor forums has been action non grata here.
I will just conclude that if anybody has problems with the administration or moderators of the board please contact a different administrator to see if we can get it resolved. Personalities can sometimes clash, and contacting a third party can sometimes be helpful.

I welcome any other comments on this topic in pm.

I don't know specifically what the issue is here, but I can tell you, after being on this board for nearly 2 years, Richt has never been anything but a stellar supporter and encourager. Rich, I LOVE YA!! And that goes for you, too, Kent! No board is perfect, but this one comes mighty close!

Hmm, we don't have a "negative rep" option on this board as far as I know.

And Rich is a very fair Administrator IMHO. I've never heard of anyone else having issues with him.

I havent been here that long but I definately agree with Betty. Richt has done nothing except offer advice, esp being in the UK!
