    Birthday, tomorrow.. ugh!

HI everybody! How's it going?! I have been doing fantastic, until people in my house started making cookies today!! I know.. HOW RUDE! So.. of course, I had this sweet craving.. DID NOT have a cookie , instead had a low carb atkins bar...those do not seem to stall my weightloss, which is awesome!

I'm just venting about this birthday party I'm going to tomorrow.. my nieces live w/ my parents and I and tonight I was feeling pretty strong with my willpower (wasn't even craving sweets by this point) and helped w/ making my nieces bday cake. I decorated it and frosted it, etc. I'm not really like having urges to eat tonight, which is good.. the only thing is, when it's the weekend, I tend to like "slack" with a few of these and bite of this.. I KNOW, PITIFUL! So.. I just need a little extra inspiration to stay completely on track this weekend, it would be a big help. Everyone is so awesome and thanks for all the support! have a great weekend..

By the way.. today is day 24, and I"m feeling fabulous!!

Good for you for thinking ahead on how you are going to manage to avoid eating off-plan at the party!

Will you be able to make sure you have plenty of 'legal' things to eat yourself while others are chowing down on the cakes and cookies? Or do you plan on eating a good meal before the party so you can truthfully say 'I am not really hungry so I'll pass on that'?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Well.. there will be salad stuff, hamburger patties, hot dogs, diet soda and water.. those are all things I limit myself with. So yeah, "legal" food for me as well.. just it's not as advertised as the JUNK food.. hehe. Anyways, thanks for the support.. have a great weekend!!

maybe try to keep the water bottle glued to your side? I went to a "BBQ" yesterday, all they had was hotdogs, chips, candy and soda. I brought my huge water bottle with me, and kept sipping that while the others ate junk. It got me through until I could leave and get my own healthy dinner.
Good luck!!! you can do this!!

Yes, have legal food available, but I've found two tricks for those situations:

          1. your FAVORITE legal food. LC cheesecake, whipped cream, something you truly love. Mine in one case was a super cheeseburger, a giant burger w/sauteed onion, swiss and sharp cheddar cheese. Everything else looked SO pale by comparison!

          2. Sugarless gum. If you're already chewing, you can't snitch a bite here and there!

HTH, and GL! And good job!
What is it, a RACE? It's coming off, right????

I second all the good suggestions and would add: Focus on how (very deservedly) pleased with yourself you'll feel the day after sticking to your WOE in the face of great temptation... It's an awesome feeling!
Hang in there... you can do it!

                  Well done!

Each time you make it through a 'celebration event' without eating offplan is one more step towards a slimmer, healthier you.
