Re: I'm Back And Ready For September Challenge- Join Me
Yesterday, I had a Gyro Salad. It's my favorite to eat out! Lots of Gyro meat on top of feta, lettuce, tomato, & green peppers. Yum! This morning I had to bring my car into the shop & wait 3 hours. So, I went to Big Boy for breakfast & just got a Western Omelet (eggs, ham, peppers, & onions). When I got home to add it to my Fitday, I see 18 FREAKIN' CARBS in the omelet on the website that is similiar. They add milk! I didn't even think of milk this morning (cries)!!! Do you really think the amount of milk & veggies added to a restaurant omelet could equate to 18 carbs? Whhaaaaaa! I didn't even mean to cheat. It wasn't even worth it for that. It would've tasted the same without milk!!!!

Gyro meat is a seasoned mixture of pork & beef, that they cook on a rotiserrie, and they serve it in Greek restaurants usually. Gyros are usually in pitas, but you can get them without the the pita too. Lucky for me, the restaurant near me has Gyro salads!

Yeah and I've a really sweet tooth.
Sometimes I have a look at the cakes and gateau.
It doesn't tempt me more, seems to satiate me by having a look
lol
Anyway, was good, though have had enough burgers on Big george, time to try other stuff.
