  • Too few carbs - is that a problem?

Today for my veggies I've had 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, 1/2 cup califlower and 2 cups lettuce. My fiber today was good. I ended up with 16 carbs, 9 grams of fiber = 7 net carbs.

Is that okay? I almost feel like I should go ahead and have my decaf and splenda just to bump up the carb count.

    Hi cristylp,

You're fine and I wouldn't add splenda or anything sweet to bump the carb count. Take a look at the Rules of Induction, rule 3 says "...eat no more than 20 carbs a day...", you don't have to reach 20 and as long as you're getting all of the required veggies in, no worries...you're doing fine.

Your doing fine. As long as your getting your veggies in, thats whats important.
