    Soda Water

    Hi -

Has anyone tried the flavored Canada Dry soda water/seltzer and what has been the effect? They come in a number of flavors, Mandarin Oragne, Cherry, Raspberry, etc... They contain no sodium, no aspertaine (or other sweetners) and on the nutrional information list zero's across the board (calories, carbs, fat, protein). The only ingredients listed are 1.carbonated water, 2. natural flavors.

For those who haven't tasted them, the flavor is very very mild, with just a hint of flavor, but they are very satisfying and a nice substitute for soda. I understand that fruit and fruit juices are a big no-no, but is it possible that the amount used is so small (everything is at 0 in the nutritional area) that it would have little or no impact on the diet (eg, like the minimal carbs in salad after induction?).

Please share your thoughts and experience.

You can drink them, but they don't count towards the minimum daily water requirement of 64 ounces.

I actually think it would count towards it..it's sodium free.. Would it not be any different than a perrier with lemon or any other natural flavouring?

        Hello All,

I am better bored with just drinking iced water.

I am missing my full sugar Coke Cola. My willpower is still strong enough not to buy or drink Coca Cola, however I am looking at the bottles of Perrier. In particular the bottles of Perrier with hint of Lime.

I'm missing the bubbles, I'm sure.

Can I drink Perrier with hint of Lime?

        I am on Extended Induction.
