Hi, I watch Celebrity Fit Club 4 and I was shocked that the diet doctor and the exercise guru kind of made fun of one of the Fit Clubbers because he gained 2 lbs in 2 weeks and he said that he must have converted muscle to fat. I know, I know, you don't convert muscle to fat, but I think he meant that since he had been exercising, that he had gained muscle but not lost fat.
Anyway, the pros made fun of him and said that there was no way he was doing the diet correctly and exercising correctly and not losing pounds. Well, sadly, the show does not measure inches lost, which, as we know is a vital tool. They think you aren't losing fat if the scale doesn't show it.
What Vinnie was going through was probably water retention due to the muscles needing the extra water. I think shows like this might discourage dieters to rely on that scale as the be all and end all.
Did anyone else see that show?
