I'm doing fine, still really really busy with work, losing about a pound every week or two.....

My playing out schedule has been hectic, rehearsing for an end of summer gig with my band.....

Can't wait, I need to post some new picts with my size 40's....my wife bought me a pair of jeans, I said, honey....those will never fit me.....

Wow!!! They fit, I wore them all day Saturday....she was sooooo proud.

Scooter, I can't wait to see pictures in your new jeans size 40. It feels sooooooo good to wear smaller clothes, doesn't it?

For those who don't follow my journal, I'm in a size 12-14 depending on the cut of the clothing...from a size 20-22 when I started. I still weigh over 200 lbs, although it's going down. I'd hit 198 about 7 weeks ago, but then I quit smoking and gained about 8 lbs back....I really rocked the boat with my metabolism, I guess. I've been working to get them back off and it's finally happening.

2big reminded me that I really need to go have my lean body mass measured, because I sure don't look like I weigh over 200 lbs. I've been working out regularly since quitting smoking...lifting weights, and I started jogging a bit too. Trying to follow the couch to 5K advice. Underneath the skin and fat, I've got some pretty awesome leg muscles LOL

Anyway, I couldn't have been as successful without ADBB, that's for sure. Coming here every day and staying involved here has helped me in so many ways.

I threw away all of my big clothes, I'm really amazed at some of these guys who say they've went from my size to like 36's, 32's, I'm an old guy!! I don't think that's possible for me, but I can't wait to be saying I'm in a 38 by Christmas!!

I'm glad you quit smoking and have stopped completely....it is so cool what we can make ourselves do when we have the proper motivation!!

Scooter, 38's are totally doable. When I started, I NEVER DREAMED that I would EVER fit into size 12. But here I am...fitting in size 12s.

I can't imagine what size I'll wear when I get to what I originally said was my goal at 185 lbs.

You keep going at the rate you have been, and you'll have a size 38 Christmas for sure...maybe even a 36!!
