    Help!

This is my first time on Atkins and this is day 3 in the Induction Phase, the bad breath and headaches have kicked in!(which are tolerable) The only thing that is driving me nuts is this overwhelming weakiness and being light-headed. Can any one tell me how long this ugly feeling lasts???
I figure since I am a total carb addict, my body is just freaking out right now?

    Re: Help!

Yeah, that's the detox. It does pass. Make SURE you are getting lots and lots of water in. That will help somewhat. Be kind to yourself during the next couple days...but remember, kindness does NOT equal FOOD any longer.

I would say it'll last a couple days and then you're going to feel INCREDIBLE when your body finally makes the switch from burning carbs to burning the fat on your body. A big old burst of energy is just waiting around the corner as long as you stick with it.

        Re: Help!

It may totally pass as soon as tomorrow, it may be a week before you truly get to feeling solid again. But it WILL pass as your body rids itself of the sugars.

And don't CHEAT. It's not worth the drugged feeling you'll have following, or going through detox AGAIN! Stick to the plan and wait for the miracle.

        Hugs

            Re: Help!

make sure youare taking the supplements yand vits you need too as with poor induction food choices you can get low in water soluble vits and minerals which will make you feel lightheaded and weak too.

good job on not listening to those milky way high carb sirreens.
