  • just a tip

    i found this worked for me last night. I was sitting in front of the tv, wanting to munch of course. so instead i put on my tightest jeans and painted my toe nails. believe me, that made me not want to eat for the rest of the night! hello fat roll!
    32 yr/F 5'6" 150/143/120 started 8/30

            i'm sooo not brave enough to eat in front of the mirror. besides, it would be too hard to eat AND cry! but i guess that's the point

                hey discovering ways to put down the munchies monster is always a good thing in my book... Having it deal w/ women with painted toenails is just a bonus add.

                  That is a GREAT idea. Manicure is good too, because you can't pick up anything for 15 minutes between coats...and I do one hand at a time

                    Ha! My only jeans are a size 32 (that's waist, not women's size), so putting those on would be quite comfy, since they would go over my hips!

                        An old tip on my site to avoid nighttime binges is to see whether you can do it topless, sitting slumped over in front of a full-length mirror, wearing only a pair of jeans a size or two too small. I've never done it - never want to!

                            I clean to avoid munching. This morning I scrubbed the bathroom cleaner than it's ever been, and afterwards, my hands stank of bleach, so I wouldn't want to pick any food up with those hands lol.

                            And I've started to add a bit of pasta sauce (only a teaspoon) to chicken or meat. It fools my brain into thinking I'm eating pasta. My brain loves it, hehe

                              cleaning is a great idea too. last night i put some free weigths on the coffee table. when law & order (my fave) went to commercial, i made myself get up and lift weights. it wasn't a great workout, but it did keep me from running to the fridge. good luck to us all!
