If you are using fitday to track your ratios then you are going to get an idea of how many calories you are consuming. I would venture to guess, unless you are really short, that you should be eating much more than 1200 calories a day...especially if you are exercising heavily. Don't deprive yourself if you are hungry.
Just to put it in perspective...last year I started Atkins at 237, 5', and spent a lot of my time watching my ratios and calories and was steadily losing keeping my calories between 1600-2100 calories a day. I did this while climbing the rungs and not exercising (I know, I know.) I was moving MUCH more though than before. Oh and I was assist coach for baseball twice a week...okay so minumal exercise. Less is not better. If you are hungry eat. If you are going to use a protein drink (I did to get my protein % up to 25-30%)(ice tea flavor so it tasted fine with water) make sure you have it with a little mini meal.
That is an awesome loss so far. I am pretty sure that it will slow down quite a bit but think of it this way..this first bit is mostly water. But even if you lose only 1 or 2 more during induction that means your body has adjusted to the water lose and you actually lost 10-12 pounds of FAT by the end of the two weeks!
Take your measurements and read the stickies..lots of great info there.

Great info! I've done a bit more reading on everything, and have come to the understanding that my body is going to be doing some major adjusting in the next few days. At my heaviest I weighed in at 282..... that was last November. I started eating less, eating better, and moving more... it was that simple. However, for the past 3 months I have only lost 2lbs, and trust me when I say that the dedication didn't waiver, the weight just didn't come off..... That's when I decided to try the "controversial diet", and the more I read, the more it made sense. I hope this is what I need to get to the next level. I have had a healthy diet to begin with, only consuming "good" carbs, working out regularly, but the weight loss stopped. I have a good feeling that by strictly limiting my carbs, I will begin to drop more and more of those unwanted pounds. I'm really excited with the progress so far, I don't want to turn into a "scale" junkie... so I'm not going to weigh in for atleast a week.... hope I can hold out that long.
Just want to point out that Atkins does not mean no carbs. We are supposed to be aiming for about 20 grams during induction. Finding the CCL (Critical Carb Level) for our bodies is an important part of maintaining success.
I know you didn't say you weren't having any...just wanted to point it out for the newbies since you mentioned strictly limiting them...and yep, I also know 20 is strict.

Do be prepared that that kind of weight lose will not continue forever and that everyone has weeks where they may not lose. Stay on plan and don't panic. Your body will catch up. Take your measurements though because sometimes when the scale is not moving the inches still are. Weird but true.
