  • Carb Counting chart/table?

    Hi all,

After lots of search, I couldnt get to see any table/chart including information about carbs in some food like vegetables for example. Could anyone please provide me with a table that include information about carbohidrates and proteins?

    thanks

I find Calorie King has a very extensive list of foods including restaurant and fast foods: http://www.calorieking.com/foods/
You can also get a free Fitday or Sparkpeople account, where you can enter your foods daily and get your totals and percentages etc:

      www.fitday.com

      www.sparkpeople.com

I have used both and prefer Sparkpeople as it also has a very comprehensive exercise db (with demos), recipes, and reports, I also find it has a far better food database and I don't have to enter as many custom foods as i did with fitday.

Most seem to use fitday though..guess it's all what your used too.

The United States Department of Agriculture National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference is a good source too:

In terms of books, Corrine T. Netzer's The Complete Book of Food Counts is without rival.
