  • A Slump surpassed

Hi all.. hey I suppose when all of us go through a slump in weight loss we can get discouraged. I was in the same mind set. I was to angry at myself.. "what am I doing wrong?" Well, nothing.. I kept my Ketosis up and making all the right choices but 2 weeks gone by and no weight loss... Boy was I in a slump.

Then all of a sudden, the next week I checked my weight and bang, 4 lbs.. That is when I figured out that sometimes your weight needs to catch up with your body (body lost but no weight).

So, I have returned to my happy face haha.. and now feeling great. I figured that times like this happens and just stick with the basics and keep up the program.

Oh by the way, I just bought and used some of the Atkins drinks and breakfast bars.. OMG they are great.. I eat one at work and drink the chocolate drinks on the weekends. These are so very very pleasing after so long without. Haha.. I am so excited finding a new source for rewarding myself without worry, that I ended up just looking into new cloths. Well, I just looked right now.. haha.. besides, I have some old cloths I haven't worn in 20+ years..... nice ones too.

Keep the faith people... Atkins works and no side effects.. or at least I haven't bit my wifes head off and yelled at the grand kids.. haha.. Hey that is what those who poo poo this probram say.. I guess they are just jealous about all of us. Good.

Enjoy... When I started ... and when now...

Congratulations on the four pound loss!! I hope things keep moving for you.

I'm glad you're enjoying the Stkins products, but be careful with them, eh? They cause quite a few people to stall. I think most people here would advocate whole, natural foods. But new treats are always exciting!

    Keep up the good work.

Congrats on the loss, you're looking great. It's always a wonderful feeling to be able to look at or put on something you didn't think you would be able to.

congrats on the loss and understanding that weight loss isn't a linear process.

Sorry you discovered the sweet taste of the frankenfoods as a reward. remeber it was rewarding yourself with food that got you needing Atkins. fine some nonfood reward system please so you can be a llife time goalie in your smaller healtheir body too.

              Re: A Slump surpassed

You all are very welcome and I like the advice you provide me.. and I won't let the atkins foods change my goals.

I noticed that the breakfast bars are a little high in Carbs, so I have changed my use of them to only 1 or 2 a week.. like when I am in a hurry and can't eat anything for several hours. As for the drinks, they seem reasonalble and I will test them out a little more.

One more thing that is happening at work... there is this certain secretary down the hall that spent more time talking to me than she ever did (20 years).. of course she is cute haha... now the wife is starting to catch on haha..

Thanks again all for all the complements and words of support. I too wish all the same positive words and encouragement.

              Enjoy
