    anybody tried edible cactus leaves? does anyone have any carb info on cactus leaves?

    They're also called nopales. I've never eaten them...or at least I've never eaten them knowingly, so I don't know how they taste. I have been tempted to buy and try them, though...

      I love nopalitos and scrambled eggs YUMMMM I eat them quite a bit ..you just saute them and have them with your eggs in the morning!!!

      you can buy them in a jar prepared but it is not the same and slicing (prickly pear pads) after they have been sraped of the spines then saute in butter or oil ..that is it

      do not over cook them however or they get slimy kind of like okra
