Same with gyros, I've had it at restaurants where it's very obviously got fillers...

I thought that American cheese was not okay. We are talking about like the packaged Kraft cheese right? It has like two carbs per slice. I actually do like it on burgers and stuff but thought it was not allowed.

2big and I are just dancing around the point that you gotta be really careful with fast food.
fake cheese, special sauce, pressed loaf meat, food additives, etc.

the way I try to think of it I picked up from the Atkins video that I was laughing about in a different post. Dr. Atkins said something to the effect that our ancestors ate and thrived on real food, not the processed items we have available today. Real meats, real eggs, real veggies, real dairy items are what we need.

Having said that, I am eating a pork rind, because I can be two faced and like it!

          Smile everyone!
"I'm big boned" ...Um, nobody has bones that big....

Buffalo wings, not just for breakfast anymore.

Hey baby, how do you like bald fat guys with no money?

That's just deep fried meat, right off the pig. So, what's wrong with that?

not a dang thing wrong with it, except probably fried in some kinda partially hydrogenated trans fat filled nasty goo. and it's kinda processed. Not something a cave man would stumble across.

                Re: fast food?

In a pinch I go to Wendy's, order a double or tripple with cheese and a ceasar side salad. I yank the bun off and put it in the top of the salad container and eat it like a steak. It's actually really good! I've tried this a few places but you realize real fast how disgusting McDonalds and Good Times meat is when there's no bun to hide the meat.

Wendy's if my favorite too. Texas Double Cheeseburger toss the bun, ceasar side salad and best part it's only $2.00 cause they are both on the 99 cent menu. I Like the Texas Double Cheeseburger because they way they stack it you can take the two peices of burger, cheese and the lettuce leaf off and fold it over like a wrap. Most of the time I throw the tomato, pickle and onion away but sometimes I eat the tomato too. The ceasar dressing only has 1 carb I think 2 at the most. It's yummy with the burger.

look at the pacage next time you are in the store Kraft makes american cheese and amercian cheese food packages in singles one has 0 carbs er slice which really means it has less then .5 for that size and one has 1 carb for the same slize slice which really means it has less then 1,5 carbs, rgwe ingredients are different too. and if you really want to get bad cheese they have that velveta cstuff too if your package says cheese, not cheese food nor cheese product it is legal cheese. the fast food places I listed use real cheese. you can ask your food place if it is real cheese or cheese food.

Subway oricesses the heck out of all there meats so don't think you are safe there either.
